"Weak and flimsy player"

I was excited because this is a samsung branded DVD player for use with our 10 year old television set. Unfortunately, playback and skipping are constant problems (even on a disk that looks perfect). The motor appears to have trouble spinning the disc. I do not recommend this player.

A solid, basic machine. No bells and whistles. Plays DVDs my old machine wouldn't. Remote takes some getting used to. Would buy this again.
