Tried every other high end dvd players (including onkyo, denon and yamaha), but gotta admit that this unit brings out the best flicker free pictures out of ur dvd's. Highly impressed with sony quality. Comes with standard 5yrs warranty, so peace of mind. Sound quality is the best. Very good bulit quality. Good job SONY......

The picture quality offered by this DVD player is substantially better than I've encountered with other players. There is an absence of video noise and distortion, so frequently seen on other DVD players. The picture is bright and clear. This player is big and heavy, built more solidly than any other. It's expensive, but if you want the best performance, this is the one.
