I watch 2 or 3 DVD's a week. I wanted something easy to set up and use, this fits the bill. Very good picture.
I watch a lot of Asian movies so the sub-title feature is great.
I have not had it long but no problems so far.

This product is excellent. It was easy to set up and gives an amazing upconversion picture. I was not fully ready to switch to Blu-Ray, but as I am an avid movie fan and collector, I want the best quality in my movies, for the best price. I own a Samsung upconversion player as well, and this one outperforms the Samsung brand easily. The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is that it is not a Blu-Ray player.

The product is quite good. The last few upconvert players I've had have a bad time with some brands of DVD-R's even though my 3-year old Magnavox plays them fine. But this player has no problem playing all of my recorded DVD's.
You DO see a noticeable difference in picture between this player and a standard DVD player.
The player also comes with different picture modes that enhance the picture of the DVD although I find that I don't use them at all. One of these is the "sharpen" setting. This setting would help a lot if it wasn't for the fact that it also sharpens the compression of the DVD a lot so it kind've brings out the negative aspects of DVD quality but it does work good on movies with minimal compression artifacts. There is also a "color" setting that I don't really use because it seems to put an unnatural amount of color onto the screen sometimes.
Delivery and service from this website was excellent. They also had the best price on this player which is good.

For the price, you get HD - Blue Ray 1080p, works on all DVDs, worth the money, I have recommended to several friends already.

Very Cool! Crisp clear images from my old DVD's. REGZA Link allows the DVD player and the REGZA TV to control each other using the DVI cable. Put in a DVD and the TV automatically changes input. DVD controls on the TV remote work without even entering the code.
