The Best picture I have ever seen. It is my first true HD television. The best decission I made. The picture looks just as good if not better than the ones in the show room. You can't go wrong with this one.

This Sony has the perfect picture from any viewing angle. The traditional criticism agains LCDs is that at various angles the sharpness and clarity of the picture is lost. In its engineering Sony is going the extra mile to make sure that their choice of LCD as their media for large screen TVs is comparable to any plasma screen. In this TV, the truth is in the pudding and the picture is simply terrific. As an added bonus the floating glass design of the TV is very contemporary and goes well with many modern designers - like Vladimir Kagan.

[...]The HDMI input shows great picture quality. However, the standar definition picture quality is not that great. The upconversion process of the TV leaves something to be desired. Fortunately, Sony allows to turn those features off. With a Dish Network VIP622 doing the upconversion, the standard definition picture looks pretty good.
