Great TV. Have an older LCD Projection Sony that we love, purchased a Panasonic Plasma which is nice, but this is the best of all three.

Almost perfect. It is used as a HD TV, DVD viewer, PC monitor with wireless desktop, and for radio listening. In these regards the imaging is beautifully crisp and bright, no trouble with blacks or motion. The manual says it's 1080p, but 1080i (so far) seems hard to beat. Good sound. Menu and tv/video changes are quick, easy, and logical. Excellent as a PC monitor. It's nice to have two HDMI inputs, one for cable, one for DVD player. But: non-HD television image is good, only, and managing power saving (ie, picture-off) options requires several steps (for radio listening). And, for non-HD sport events, at times the very top and bottom of full screen is cut off, can't fit on screen, yet other times it's no problem. HD event imaging is always excellent and complete.
Delivery was not so prompt, but there was no hurry, so no complaint. All arrived in good condition. The deliverers were very helpful, cheerful, and polite, as was telephone customer service. The only confusion was not knowing, from the tracking message, whether the necessary "telephone confirmation prior to delivery" was for me to initiate, or for me to wait for and expect.

This 46" Sony 1080p LDC was on my wish list for some time (waiting for the price to drop). I am a long time Sony fan & have always had a good experience with their products. This model has a large screen size & the key features I wanted (1080p and a good mix of connection options). Also, this model does not have the mirror black enclosure many others do, a real plus. After a google search to get recommended advanced calibration settings, this TV looks GREAT !
As always, Abt service was GREAT. Fast shipping and I was kept informed during the order/ship process of exactly when to expect my TV. There was a price drop within 30 days of my order and Abt gave me the lower price. I will continue to be a loyal Abt customer.

This was the perfect TV for me. It's the first 46" LCD TV from Sony that would fit into my built in entertainment system due to the bottom speaker design and smaller bezel. Did I mention that it's 1080P too. Looks absolutely fantastic playing HD DVD movies and XBox 360. Thanks Sony!
