It is beautiful, a piece of art. I wish the manual helped a tech-challenged guy like me feel more competent about the running of the TV. Setting up went fine but I just wanted to know more about adjustment, sound and the like. Don't get me wrong the set and picture gave a perfect picture right out of the box with quick and adequate set-up instructions.

This product is wonderful! The set is lightweight and a perfect size for a living room. I read in earlier reviews that the sound was not very good, but I'm pleased with it enough to forego getting any other speakers. The surround sound speakers in the TV itself are good enough for a small living room and it alleviates the "clutter" of more speakers. The picture is gorgeous. I am very pleased with this TV and can't imagine getting anything else!

I did 4 months of research before I bought this TV. Time very well spent. I would recommend it to my parents. Picture is top notch. Audio is fantastic. It's expensive....but you get what you pay for. It's hookedup to DISH HD. Picture is fantastic !!!!!!

Piano black finish. Picture frame. This LCD TV seems to float in space. OK, I admit it. It costs a ton more than LCDs of similar size but it is Sony quality in a great package. The picture is highly adjustable for every input option (check the internet for recommended settings). Once hooked to an HDTV cable box (Comcast here) with composite cables, the picture is great. [...] do pay special attention to the safe way to move so as not to bend the frame (It's a two person job). Really can't think of any negatives.

This TV is exceptional. The HD quality is superb - we bought Dish HD especially for the TV (never had cable or satellite before). The picture quality absolutely blew us away with the satellite box input. The digital local stations are great as well. Even the standard definition channels have a very good picture (much better than I expected based on all of the reviews/analysis I did). I researched TVs for 6 months before deciding on this model. This TV was built in December and did not have the cloud problem that is often referred to on internet reviews. We are very satisfied and would recommend the TV!

We have had the Sony 46" BRAVIA XBR3 LCD TV for about two weeks. The picture is awesome. I was comparing this against the Panasonic 50" plasma and decided to go with the slightly smaller Sony due to the incredible picture, even though it cost me about $800 more. We subscribe to Comcast HD and the picture on 1080i channels is incredible. My wife, who generally does not get excited about television, has said to me repeatedly "I love this TV". The worst part of our transition from standard TV to HDTV has been moving from Tivo to the Comcast DVR, it stinks and simply doesn't work correctly.

After exhaustive research on which LCD to purchase (and getting a headache from all the different reviews, opinions, price wars, etc), I went with my initial (dream) choice, the Sony XBR3. [...]Not only was I able to compare the XBR3 side by side with the Bravia (middle line)but also the Samsung (which is what I planned on buying). As is alleged, the XBR3is hands down the best LCD on the market. I was concerned about the sound quality on the Samsung (after reading countless reviews on vibration issues). I personally can attest that the sound quality on the Samsung is lacking (not an issue if you want to run sound through your home av system.) With respect to the XBR3's picture quality, I subscribe to Comcast Digital cable and HD service. The picture is absolutely stunning (even the normal cable channels). If you are a "gamer", don't even get me started on what the Xbox 360 looks like on this tv. Set up is a breeze. It literally took about 5 minutes. There are a ton of blog strings on the "proper" configuration for this set. To be honest, I barely changed anything. The picture blew me away right out of the box. Unlike others on the web, I found the menu and set-up options easy to navigate (and I don't necessarily consider myself tech savvy). My ONLY regret on this product is the ridiculous price difference between the 46" and 52" inch versions. Give me a break Sony, a $2,700 difference for a 6" larger screen. Had the price difference not been so drastic, I would have bought the 52". If you have the ability, do yourself a favor and buy this tv. You will not be disappointed. I have had it for about 2 weeks now and I am becoming sleep deprived (you sit there mesmerized by the picture)

The picture on this LCD is amazing on HD broadcasts (particularly 1080i). But, SD is almost unwatchable. But, the positives far outweigh the SD experience.
