An excellent TV in this size and price range. Picture quality is wonderful. Only the remote Control could be better, especially if the buttons would light up. It's used as the primary TV in a large room and viewing is fine. I recommed it for those who prefer a smaller set and don't want the TV to dominate the room it's in.
Delivery was prompt. Packaging was especially good and the TV arrived in excellent condition. Online purchasing through ABT is a pleasure. I had no need to contact Customer Service.

The Sony offers great picture, good sound, an attractive casing, and ease of use. My only real complaint is the lousy placing of the HDMI output, which sits squarely behind any mounting bracket attachment given the mounting screw placement on the Sony. This problem is easily resolved with a 90-degree HDMI adapter, but it certainly delays the instant gratification. Now that I have my adapter and my Sony is up on the wall, I'm happy as a clam. Great price from Abt.

I was suppose to receive it on a Wednesday but did not get it until Friday late afternoon. No real explanation given other than the weight was more than expected so they held it up in Nashville. It was slated for free delivery. I do not know if that was ABT or UPS foul up. That was frustrating. I do no know if I will order from ABT again.

I was a bit embarrassed buying such a small flat screen tv but this one is perfect for a second room! It's got a small "footprint" too, so it fits in our media cabinet well.

We got the TV fast! The only thing I worried about is that they left it on my doorstep outside. I'm glad noone grabbed it off my doorstep before I did- maybe you should request a signature before delivery if you order equipment from this company....

The set is not real clear (fuzzy details) when hooked to standard Dish Network or standard DVD player. I have tried all available connections and still get a fuzzy picture. I have'nt tried an upconvert DVD player or HD hook-up (HDMI). Hopefully that will cure my delima! [...] Thanks

I bought this unit to replace the 20" CRT in my bedroom. I shopped quite extensively and happened across the best deal with Abt. The total price including shipping and a 4-year extended warranty was less than any price the B&M stores could offer without a warranty.
Set up was a snap and I'm still trying to get accustomed to all the features, and there's a lot of them! The picture is crystal clear, no dead pixels, the surround sound is amazing and the playback on my Sony DVD player is superb. However, the remote included with the TV cannot control the Sony DVD player and the remote with the DVD player will not control the TV. IMHO, this is something Sony needs to work on. Other than that, I'm very pleased.
Ordering was fast, professional and courteous. I ordered over the phone because I had a presale question so I had to call in after using the live-chat feature. The rep (Carl) was most helpful and did not try to sell me a bunch of other items I didn't need. The TV was shipped a few days (over the weekend) after I placed the order and arrived a day before it was scheduled. The packaging was astounding. This thing could have dropped off the truck onto the Interstate and it wouldn't have hurt it. A box in another box loaded with air pillows - great job.
About a week later, Abt had a price reduction and wouldn't you know it, I received a credit for the difference. Great customer service from Abt.

This was a terrific buy. Delivered price through Abt was far lower than any I found. This is not a top-of-the-line Sony model but the picture and sound quality meet or exceed all TVs I compared. The tuner has a good reputation but the tuner built into my combination DVD/VCR/tuner pulls in more stations. One thing I don't care for is that the only coax cable connection is on the side rather than the back of the set.
We chose Sony because of our experience with the Trinitron we bought in 1989. Good picture and still going strong! That's a big reason we held off on buying a new TV.
Impressive job of packaging by Abt! The Sony box was packaged inside a larger box with insulating materials between. Safe to say, the TV arrived in perfect condition. Prompt delivery with tracking via UPS. Abt customer service was very responsive when I contacted them to change the delivery instructions. All in all, I couldn't ask for better.

I wanted a small(ish) HDTV for my bedroom so I ordered a 22" ViewSonic HDTV/monitor, which was well-reviewed online. Unfortunately, its picture and sound quality turned out to be awful, so I returned it.
I have a 32" Sony Bravia in my living room, and I really like it. I realized I was going to have to step up and get a Sony for the bedroom. At 26”, this TV is a little larger than I was originally considering, and it costs a little more than I originally wanted to pay, but I have absolutely no regrets.
I cannot tell any difference between the quality of picture and sound between my two Sony HDTVs. In other words, this new TV is fantastic. Sony products may cost a little more, but this experience has taught me that the quality is worth the extra cash.
Abt was willing to match the best price I found online.

I bought this TV to replace my 9 year old Phillips 19" in the bedroom. Thought it might be too large but am happy to say it's the perfect size. Will be mounting it on the wall (haven't quite got to it yet.) Was easy to set up in short amount of time. I've always been a fan of Sony products and am very pleased with this purchase. I use it in a basic way to watch TV so I can't comment on adding it to a sound sytem, etc. For those who are more tech savvy, I'm sure it wouldn't be a problem. I'm planning to buy the 46" Sony KDLXBR5 for the livingroom later this year.
I have never received a product that was shipped so securely and quickly as this TV. I did have a few questions and concerns before buying, but after speaking with customer service twice I didn't hesitate to place my order. I would recommend ABT to anyone considering purchasing a major appliance.

The single con that I have is that with the unit wall mounted, the plethora of video hook-ups on the back of the set are difficult to access. If, however, you utilize the pedestal stand, there will be no cons.

Sony has a great new UI on their LCD TV's - I very much appreciate the digital cable tuner built-in. Wish they could have made this TV a 1080p but I understand the constraints with the screen size. Still unbeatable picture - attached to a DirecTV HR-21 (use native mode on the DirecTV box as the Sony is very quick to change formats on the fly)

Saturday night 3/29, I placed an online order for a Panasonic TC26LX70 -HDTV which was shown on Backorder and since I wasn`t in a hurry and the TV is for the bedroom I figured I`d get in line to be sure to get one when they did arrive. In checking stock Sunday morning I spotted a Sony KDL26S3000 in stock for $50 additional. What a deal! Since I already have a Sony 50`` SXRD and love it, along with a long and pleasant history with Sony video products I got right on the phone and talked to Victor and changed the order to the Sony. I sent a follow up email as well and got a prompt reply from Joanna saying everything was fine and the Sony was sent for shipment. All this on a Sunday!!! Monday I got the email confirming the shipment. Tonite (Wednesday) I am watching the TV in New Jersey. Not too bad... I think. The TV was double boxed and packed very safely which was really my only concern since everything else went so well. In short I got a great deal on this TV compared to what else I`d seen while researching this purchase, add to that Free Shipping and No Tax, I am a happy camper with my 3rd order from Abt.

I bought the Sony because it was reviewed to do well with standard-definition; I shoot a lot with my DV camcorder. I don't watch enough TV to justify digital cable, so I didn't expect to have access to HD content, unless I could get it via antenna. Despite what the [...]rep told me, it turns out my sub-basic cable has HD channels for the major networks. The SD looks good, and my wife, who is totally uninterested in video quality, was quite impressed with the HDTV pics.

This TV is perfect for a large bedroom. It does not generate excess heat and the image can be adjusted to suit your taste and room illumination. I installed this 26" SONY HDTV on an optional support bracket inside a kitchen cabinet with frosted glass doors. When in use, the bracket "floats" the TV in front of the cabinet. The picture is bright and clear from all viewing angles. When not in use, the TV neatly stores away inside the cabinet.
The picture quality and sound are excellent and the ample number and variety of connections enabled me to quickly attach it to the HD satellite box via HDMI; to the home security cameras via coax cable and to my PC.
The delivery from ABT was prompt and as promised. The SONY packaging box is well designed and protected the HDTV perfectly.

This tv is installed in our fifth wheel trailer and will also be used for PC hookup which by the way looks very good. I've not watched it a whole lot, but it looks pretty good so far. I think Sony could do a better job on the remote. I have many Sony products and have always had good luck with them. I still think Sony offers more of what I look for.
I ordered this tv late one evening from Victor Rasho after chatting with him online. The order arrived in the time promised. I will purchase from ABT Electronics again.

Studied all the specs and reviews on brand-name LCD TVs, and chose this model SONY as it fit our current setup configuration. Have had good experiences with other Sony products. Did not want an LCD TV with piano or glossy cabinet finish. Setup was easier than anticipated.

This is my second Sony Bravia HDTV and I couldn't be more satisfied. Set up was easier then any television I've ever owned. Fast and easy for the most technically challenged user. The picture is fantastic - bright and colorful and with HD programing becoming more and more prevalent, the quality of viewing is fantastic.
ABT was the most inexpensive of all dealers that popped up on my screen when I was using my American Express rewards points. Now I wished I'd known about them sooner. The TV was delivered so fast and in perfect condition as advertised. I will definitely look up ABT next time I need any electronics.

This is a great TV, outstanding picture and blaring sound. We use this TV for our kitchen/sitting area and is the perfect size. Not too big for the sitting area and big enough that your not squinting from the kitchen.

I purchased this TV to replace my ancient Quasar 27-inch CRT model set in my living room. Size was critical, as my TV and hi-fi equipment in that room must fit into a nice piece of existing furniture. My main uses are cable TV watching (Time Warner digital cable thru a Scientific Atlanta DVR) and DVD watching thru a Sony DVPNS77H upscaling DVD player. I do have a dedicated home theater room, but the living room does in a pinch with my "mini theater" system (a NAD C340 amplifier driving a pair of very old but great-sounding Polk Audio RT-8 towers). The cable connection to the TV (for now) is from the DVR to the set's coax input and the DVD player connection is to the set's HDMI input. I intend to upgrade my cable subscription to be able to get HD channels and I would hope that the new DVR will have an HDMI connection to the set. To summarize, I am very happy with the new Sony TV. Cable looks very good and DVDs look astounding. Excellent straight-on and off-side viewing and I especially appreciate being able to watch in daylight without the stray reflections from the windows. I changed the default color setting to "WARM 1".

I use this product in a small bedroom. I have HD Cable (Optimum/Cablevision), an older progressive scan DVD player, and a Wii hooked up. They all look terrific.The deal breaker for spending up to 200 dollars more on this instead of the Samsung LNT2653H, Panasonic 26LX70, or the Sharp LC26D43U (all of which I spent about a month researching and price-comparing online) was an in-store visit. The Sony 26" S-series just blew them out of the water. Beware though, many retailers stock the M-series which is in the same price range as the aforementioned models. Not the same thing!
I ordered next day shipping and UPS arrived after calling in the morning to confirm someone would be here to sign. Packaging by ABT was terrific.

Bought this set for my TV and from what I heard on the smaller models is that the sound is "tinny" but this one has really great sound for a smaller set. Only had this for a small period of time but looks like a true winner!!

Am I the only one who thinks the pixel size on typical computer monitors is way too small? Fortunately, one can buy HDTVs and essentially choose their pixel size, which is what I did with this 26" Sony Bravia. With my PC, I can run it at 1360 x 768 pixels, and the Bravia is smart enough not to scale it ("1:1 pixel mapping" is what it's called). In fact, no matter what resolution I send to the Bravia via my computer (600x800, 768x1024), the Bravia shows it unscaled, and this results in a smaller, centered image with black borders. This applies to both the VGA (PC) input and also the HDMI (via a DVI adapter) input.
Also note that I had previously tried using a 26" LG HDTV, but the LG had fuzzy/blurry text on both the HDMI and VGA inputs. Not so with the Sony -- text is razor sharp. However, I do note that colored text (e.g., blue text on a white background) will sometimes have some artifacts around the edges -- this may be due to the S-PVA panel design... I don't know. I can live with it, though, especially since there is no problem with black text on a white background.
Comparing this to the other TVs in the stores, I noticed that the colors were "truer" on the Sony than other sets, presumably due to the wide color gamut backlight. I did notice however that the Panasonic set had a more pleasing degradation for off-axis viewing -- with the Sony, just a slight change in left/right changed the amount of black detail. The Panasonic image seemed more consistent with slight viewing angle changes (however, the Panasonic didn't appear to be designed for computer use at all).
Also, one nice feature is that when using the VGA input, the Bravia will automatically go into standby mode if no signal is fed into it, and power back up when a signal is detected. Unfortunately, this feature does not work when the computer is hooked up via the HDMI input, so one would have to manually turn the TV on or off if you use this input (although I can't really discern any difference in picture quality between the HDMI and VGA inputs, which is good, because with the other HDTV I tried, the VGA quality was far worse than HDMI).
