Great tv but not so great if you like good bass also its not good with video games if you have a kid that likes to play for hours if there is something in the game that does not move the shape could melt into the screen after the tv is off and you have to wait til it goes away.

This is the first flat screen I have purchased and I must say im in love with it 50 inches of beauty.
I had never heard of this company I must say that they gave me excellent service from the start of my order till the final delivery. they kept in good contact from when my order had shipped and scheduled the delivery time and date and the driver was keeping in good contact with me and told me the exact time he would be here and he was right on time thank you ABT for giving your costumer's great service I will definitely purchase from company again

Incredible picture quality. Simple setup. A pretty good selection of picture settings should make the TV suitable for any environment. I would have liked a CC key on the remote instead of having to go into the menu to turn the CC on.
Delivery was about how long I expected. Box and TV were in perfect condition. I would definitely buy from Abt again.

I have only had this television a couple of weeks, but I am extremely pleased. This is my first large flat-panel, so at 50" it seems like I have acres of screen. Setup was very simple. I've got it hooked up to Onkyo's HT908 7.1 home theatre system with a Dish Network HD-DVR, using HDMI cables all the way. Picture quality is incredibly bright and saturated. The blacks are inky rich. HD and DVD is razor-sharp. Don't overspend on 1080p...your eyes can't see the difference on 50" or less anyway. Buy this television!

The new 2008 Plasmas from Panasonic are outstanding. They resolve pretty much all downsides customers could think of: reflection (they are anti reflective), upscaling (regular signal is turned into HD), anti burn-in with pixel orbiting, long lifespan (30 years @ 8hrs per day) and awesome image quality. 1366x768 is just fine, I went to many stores to see the difference between 720p and 1080p, read online reviews, the truth is there is no difference. It's all about getting the right signal in, and getting high quality cables. On the downside, I only wish the TV was lighter and consumed less power but it's no big deal for a set that size.
ABT electronics did a great job and offered the best price on the market (I looked nationwide) for such a high quality TV. Took free shipping, which was not so great, so in the future I'd consider a few more dollars for shipping and peace of mind. Overall, very happy. Great work ABT.

This TV looks great right out of the box and works well with my other Panasonic equipment. The manuals can be a little confusing as they don't go into great detail about advanced set up or what the picture modes are best for. A little bit of experimentation and a home theater set up disc such as the Avia will have this TV looking better than what you see in the show room.
Blue Ray movies are jaw dropping on this set especially if using an HDMI A/V receiver for your audio. I wish the remote were a little more robust and even though all of my Panasonic A/V equipment are Viera Link capable you still need to use all of the remotes.
The built in speakers are just adequate but if you're upgrading to a TV this nice most people will run their audio through an A/V receiver.
I would have given this TV 5 stars if the manual were a bit better and Panasonic customer support were more knowledgeable (I called with set up questions and I felt like I was educating them).
Delivery was on time and tracking provided. This is a big item and I was a bit concerned about damage during shipment but the shipping company took good care of it. I didn't want it to left on the front porch so I arranged for local pick up. I called Customer support to find out the shipper and they we very helpful.

This tv has an amazing picture and it seems impossible to burn in. After about 50 hours, I played video games on it all week and no burn in what so ever. The anti-reflective coating works great. There is a black level (dark and light) function. I used this with other adjustments and it really helps the blacks look black.

We bought this plasma while looking for a dryer. We can't get away from the darn thing. Movie after movie, HD tv channel after another. The picture is awesome. Clear picture and sound.I did a lot of research on all kinds of Plasma TVs and realized that if you stick to the basics features like stereo, zoom in/out, very good contrast, then you will have the same picture as the [$]sets. And 720p vs 1080 - you will never see the difference unless you put your eyeball upto the screen. As for LCD vs Plasma, LCD is too slow for action movies or sports - faces blurr and may bother you after an hour or so. This television is underprised, but hey, go for it!
