Comments about Samsung Samsung DLP TV Stand:
Wonderful table! No one I talked to by phone at Samsung could give me any help on if it would fit in a corner. I was just told it was 66" wide and more rectangular than not. I ordered it anyway, and it far exceeds my expectations! It has beveled edges on the sides that let it take up a lot less space than anticipated using two walls as a back drop. The only thing it really needs is a better system of adjustable glides on the bottom of the legs. It might work great on hardwood floors the way it is now, but even without the weight of a 71" Samsung TV on it, it does NOT slide over carpet easily no matter how high you adjust them. I put some small flat furniture glides underneath the two front legs and some bigger ones along the back edge where they wouldn't show and it's easier to move the table out now to get behind the TV for cable hookup and changes. Samsung, please make that change and when you do, if you think of it, send me replacement caps (gliders) for this table--everything else on that table is wonderful! It holds 3 components on each glass shelf if they're of a normal size, although they can't say that in their ad--they list 2 per shelf. Even the satellite box fit on top of a dvd/vcr recorder combo on the same shelf heightwise, thereby saving even more space. I highly recommend this table to anyone needing to put their huge TV in a corner (or even if just along a straight wall). My 6" tall receiver fits on the shelf with some room to spare and I'm very glad to find this table. It's very nice looking, also.
