This stand was made for the Sony 50" Grand WEGA SXRD Rear Projection HDTV - KDS50A2000 that I bought along with it, so it fits and looks perfect. Easy assembly, perfect esthetic match to the set itself, while also being strong and sturdy. In my perfect world, I wish it was about 12" higher, but that is just me. As the TV was put in the bedroom my Dad and I built a custom tailored-to-fit riser, painted it black and put under the stand itself, and now it's all good and pretty. IMO, if you buy the set, get the stand that was made for it too.

Excellent packaging. Instructions were a little tricky since there wasn't much language, but the pictures made up for it. I've never seen another product that was packaged with the protection of all the pieces. Superb. And it's made for my TV. It's clean and the size of the TV which means that it doesn't take up more room than is needed.

I like this stand because it was built for the KDS50A2000 TV. It fits perfectly into the grooves made for that TV and has a little piece that fits on the bottom of the TV to make it look like one unit. My only problem was the shelf space. I wish it had one more shelf because with my center speaker, cable box, A/V receiver, and DVD player, it is really crowded. All in all I would recommend if you have the KDS50A2000 and do not have any more components than I listed.
