This is a well-designed stand that is robust (though that makes it quite heavy) and stylish. Assembly was straightforward and instructions were well-written. Shelf space is adequate for up to six components. The only drawback noted was that the door frame width is quite large, blocking the IR from remotes if the receptor on a component happens to be behind the frame rather than the glass.

Very nice attractive design, easy to assemble, I would leave backing off, my reciever fit better and you really don't notice it. Only complaint is that the doors are hard to adjust. recommend loading all componets + TV, level the the cabinet and re-adjust doors will save alot of time other than that it looks great!
