This TV has superb picture quality, and for [$], you can't find a comparable 56" 1080p set. The all black design looks nice in just about any entertainment center. Picture quality is excellent using DirecTV HD content, and even better when playing Blu-ray movies with a PS3. I know this type of TV is getting phased out, but it's still a great deal.

We love this TV! I bought it for [$], and it's picture quality is as good as the 1500 dollar TV a friend of mine purchased from Sharp. Since it's a DLP I can't hang it on the wall, like a LCD or Plasma, but who cares!
The TV has delivered to my door in perfect condition and the delivery personnel was very professional.

The Samsung 56-inch DLP HDTV has exceeded all of my expectations - the reviews do not do this set justice. Easy set-up right out of the box, picture quality is FABULOUS, remote is intuitive, and with zero problems with ambient lighting or wide viewing angles so common with LCD or plasma sets. Sound could be better, but if you're using a home theater set-up to run the sound, you don't need the TV sound anyway. Abt has [...] the best pricing around. Totally satisfied with the purchase[...]

I have only had the TV for about a week, but so far it has surpassed my expectations. Picture quality is tremendous; couldn't be happier. The sound could be better, but I plan to purchase surround sound (as I would think anyone with this size TV would do) so that will become a non-issue. I was amazed at how light the TV was for its size. I was able to lift it onto my TV stand by myself, which I didn't expect to be able to do.

I use the television with an HD cable system. I enjoy sports, and movies. I also play my xbox 360 on my tv. My friends are amazed at the picture difference between their tv and mine.
I originally purchased the 50" model a month prior to my delivery date that I chose. ABT called me the day before and let me know their was a problem at their warehouse and they didnt have a 50" for me. So they offered the 56" or I could wait for a 50". Naturally I took the 56". I buy everything from ABT before this expierence and after. They know customer service.

Easy to use - plug and play. I even use it as a computer monitor.
What makes this TV great isn't the great value ratio of quality:price (which is great), it's the service that comes along with it. Through no fault of ABT, I first got a slightly defective set. They sent out a repair man, and figured it would be easiest to just replace the whole set! So, I got a new set with NOTHING out of pocket after the initial purchase. Thanks ABT!!

I bought this TV to replace a 46" Toshiba, and am pleasantly surprised at the difference in picture quality.
