this tv is worth every penny. the picture is amazing. you can spend $3,500 to $5,000 and not get this quality in a set. i have had this set for 3 months, and would buy another tomorrow.

i was reluctant to make such a large purchase online but i couldnt even come close to beating this price at any other authorized store.(if you dont buy a product from an authorized retailer and it breaks the manufacturer usually wont honor the warranty.) abt was excellent to deal with so far;no problems and the tv...well my friends all hate me now...they call me after leaving my house to tell me thanks for ruining their life because their tv isn't watchable anymore.ive been researching tvs for over a year and this is about the best;rivals plasma at 1/3 the price.u wont be disapointed,just make sure u get hd box to take full advantage of its capabilities
delivery was prompt and friendly.tv arrived in perfect condition,plugged it in, hooked it up, and been in paradise ever since.

We had been discussing LCD (plasma doesn't like altitude)and finally realized that the right place for our new telly was where the old one is, not on our only real wall. After that, the new LED lit DLP seemed like the right choice. Our room is very brightly lit and it competes very well. There have been complaints about the sound but we run all our movies through a Bose Home Theater so it is of no consequence. I am an old movie fan and an odd thing is that the old B&W movies look great!

We have Dish network, but haven't any HD yet, but it works fine on Standard Def, and excellent on DVD's. Easy set up, very light for a BIG screen. I haven't seen it in Hi Def, so that's why only four stars. So far, so good!
I kept waiting for an email notification of shipping, but what we got was a call from the driver that he would be delivering later that same day. Things worked out fine, but could have been bad had someone not been home for that call, and at delivery. Driver was most helpful with delivery. It's a big box!

This T.V. is the main T.V. in our house and gets a ton of use, but no worries thanks to the l.e.d. light engine. The picture is great from almost any angle.
This was the first time I've bought from Abt. Everything from the initial purchase to the prompt delivery(in time for the Superbowl), was top-notch. I've been watching this TV for some time now and Abt and Samsung have achieved and surpassed all my expectations. I'll be recommending Abt to friends and family all.

Bought this tv to replace my "old grand-daddy" Mitsubishi 50in 13yr old set. I'm a nut when it comes to researching things and this was no exception. Looked at LCD's and Plasma's. The DLP by Samsung blew them all away. Get this set, you will not be dissapointed. The guys from ABT were great. Promt delievery just in time for the Super Bowl.

I need closed caption usually so I have to switch to coax TV from HDMI TV when I can't make out the voices from the background noise. This is my first HDTV and maybe closed caption is not available in any HD TV format but there are so many menu steps necessary to change sources that I miss part of the program making the switch.

We use the Samsung 61" LED DLP in our family room, mostly with normal lighting. Even though we are not using HD yet, the picture quality and brightness are excellent. ABT's price was the best we found [...]

I did major research on all the different technologies before buying this DLP TV. Most people are all about the thin on the wall TV's, but for the price this TV far exceeds any flat panel of the same size and features. This TV doesn't take up too much space either. The 2nd generation LED light engine is really what sold me on the set. Has every hook-up you'll ever need. Very happy of my purchase.
Don't buy the Samsung stand though. It is exspandable from 51" to 67" but only comes with 51" glass shelves. Doesn't fit the stand very well and there is not enough room for components.
Delivery was originally schedueled for UPS when it was suppose to be delivered by ABT Employee's.
But once it did get here it was is good condition.
Things happen, satified overall.

HAD IT SET UP BY ABT [...] EXCEPTIONAL TV BIG BANG FOR THE BUCK BLUE RAY DISC VEIWING IS OUT OF THIS WORLD GREAT FEATURES WOULD LIKE IT EASIER TO UNDERSTAND AND USE BUT THATS TV TECHNOLOGY THESE DAYS SAMSUNG ROCKS AND SO DOES THIS DLP TV I HIGHLY RECOMEND IT
