This is a KILLER TV. Great picture quality and amazing color. I have a 73" Mitsubishi and the Samsung looks better. The Samsung's settings might be better and maybe with fine tuning the Mitsubishi would be similar or better. But right out of the box the Samsung is a hands down winner.

Have had for 3 weeks and love it. HD picture is great. Standar defenition is ok as expected but can see a big difference. Don't use sound as I have hooked up to home theator receiver.

We have been very happy with this purchase. It was very simple to set up, basically remove from box and plug in - the rest was simply following prompts. We went from an old (15 yrs old) 27" tube tv, so there was a bit of adjustment to the wow of seeing such a big and vibrant picture. We didn't want to wall mount, so that was not a factor in our selecting this set - we just wanted the biggest and best picture for the money. Most important to us in this purchase of the Series 7 was that it did not have a bulb & color wheel assembly that we would need to replace, and that it is energy efficient. I have to agree with earlier reviews that I read regarding the tv sound - not great, but as we do have a speaker system we do not use the tv speakers. It meets and exceeds all of our entertainment needs.
Great first time buying experience. All questions answered, price matching, free delivery, not sales tax, quick delivery... No complaints. Delivery was almost perfect - slight glitch on this end that they did not have my work phone number on the delivery sheet so I missed the first delivery (they were supposed to call me there so I could meet the delivery person at my house) - ABT and I had given it to them, but when I scheduled the delivery locally apparently they did not put it on their delivery paperwork. No big problem though, as they delivered it the very next day.

If you're looking for a great TV for a great price and more bang for your buck, this set is the best set to purchase! I just bought this unit 02/09 and was floored by its quality! I had a 50 inch Samsung 1080p plasma and was impressed by the picture. That led for me choosing Samsung for this upgrade. I know gave the the 50 inch to my wife for the bedroom! This set is bright, vibrant, colorful and crisp! Its a great full viewing experience. No more thinking about burning images on the screen. DLP produces great quality pictures and great response times betweeen changing channels. My plasma cost just a little less that this set but instead of 50 inchesm i now have a 67 inch viewing beast! I reccomend using top of the line HDMI cables or composite cables. The ports are on the right side if your facing the screen so if your cable box/av equipment is on the left side of the room, I suggest 8ft wires, if not, 4 to 6 ft is perfect. Viewing is best when sitting at least 8 feet way and in front. Its like youre at the movies! I love this set and most importantly, my wife loves it also! She called me after the install and told me it was the ultimate viewing experience! I couldn't wait to see it and when I did, I was extremely satisfied- not only by the picture but by the amount of money I saved vs a plasma or lcd and by the elegance of the set. It is almost visually-sexy if you can say. I would reccomend to almost everyone! Save money and get more bang for your buck without compromising quality by purchasing this set from ABT! [...]

This TV is large, bright and very easy to use. For a screen size of near 70 inches an LCD or plasma can easily cost five or even $10,000 more than this unit! Enjoy a picture of similar if not better quality, especially on 1080p blue ray, take the money you would save to complete your entire home theater experience!

This TV is everything I had hoped for! It has a much clearer picture than my two and a half year old S6767 model with bulb type.
Wish it had a better speaker which may cause me to purchase a sound system.

I can strongly recommned this set. It seems that the DLP projection sets are not considered by many people looking to purchase a HDTV. Since my wife and I had no intention of mounting our set on the wall, there was no need to limit our shopping to flat panel LCDs and plasma units.By going with this DLP set, I was able to get a huge screen at a fraction of the cost. Additionally, the expected lifespan of this set (60,000 hours) is 6 times longer than most estimates for LCD and plasma sets.The only issue I had was that the first set I received was defective. There was a "light tunnel issue" that caused the left third of the screen to be darker than the rest of the set. This is a common problem with some earlier Samsung sets, but has not been chronic with this model. [...] I've had no other problems with the TV.

I had purchased a 42" LCD HD set 6 months prior, but when my 9 year old Toshiba 61" TV died, I found myself looking again. After researching DLP I'm glad I waited for this set. I saw good reviews for DLP but all I kept reading about was "the bulb." This LED unit delivers great color and picture, and is as good as my LCD, and with a 60,000 hour life it's as good as it gets. It also comes with THREE HDMIs, and the picture and sound using a basic $15 6' HDMI cable (thanks [...]) is awesome.

I love this TV I wish it came in a larger size like a 72 or 73 but overall this is a very clean picture and love the fact I don't ever have to change a lamp since it uses LED's.

This is my 2nd. Dlp I have purchased from Megan at Abt's.I highly recommend her.Back to the TV,I am upgrading from a Samsung 61" with bulb to this 67" led and this size is perfect.It has a really bright picture,very detailed and has a 3-D look when watching.I am excited about getting some 3-d content soon.
I was surprised when I got my power bill,it went down $4 dollars a month compared to the former 61" bulb based.I am very pleased.Thanks Megan and Abt's.
