Great TV for a cabinet or entertainment center. Picture is bright and clear (once it warms up - takes about 45 seconds from the time you turn it on).

After turning it off, the TV makes a few clicking noises for about a minute or two. Nothing too annoying, just an odd quirk.

Sound is great, setup was a breeze and the on-screen menus are very simple and intuitive.

If you can live without wall-mounting, this is a fantastic deal. Great picture for a native 720dpi: looks great in HD and doesn't suck on normal def. Better motion reproduction than any traditional LCD in this price range. Doesn't suffer from screen burn-in, and you'll only occasionally notice the screen-door phenomenon.

The only real down-side is the slow start-up time. It takes about 15 seconds for the bulb to warm up before the set turns on. Shutting her down takes a bit of time too: you'll hear a small cooling fan run for about half a minute after you shut the screen off.

I've had this set for about a month and a half, it's my first HD/flatscreen, and I'd recommend it in a heartbeat.

Great TV! I can find nothing to complain about. I needed a TV that would fit into an existing cabinet, and this is the only one I could find. The 12-13" depth was no problem since it was going into a cabinet. Picture is quite bright and well rendered. I'm completely satisfied

I had purchased a Vizio, and was not pleased with the picture quality, or the number of inputs. Returned it, and ordered this Sony from ABT. Everything went great.

This TV has several inputs, RCA, Component, HDMI.
I bought this for my son. He had been using a video switch for his devices, but now they all connect directly to the TV.

I hooked up Tivo using SVideo and RCA, his PS2 and Xbox using component cables, and PS3 with HDMI cable. I still have 3 more open inputs.

The audio out can be selected as fixed or variable, and works with the regular speakers.

The remote is simple, with onscreen navigation and preview of the usual controls.

It's an awesome unit.

I AM TOTALLY AMAZED WITH THE CLARITY OF THE PICTURE! IT IS SO CLEAR AND BRIGHT,WHENEVER WE WATCH A NASCAR RACE, IT IS ALMOST AS GOOD AS BEING THERE!SO MANY TIMES DURING DAYLIGHT WHEN THE SUN SHINES IN, IT IS VERY HARD TO SEE A NORMAL SCREEN. THIS TV IS AS BRIGHT DURING THE DAY, AS IT IS AT NIGHT. WE LOVE THIS TV!!!! YOU MUST GET ONE IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A TV.
