This is my second Canon super zoom camera. It is my second because the first one was and still is a great camera. I purchased the new SX20 IS for its extended range zoom, better built-in flash, hot shoe for an external flash, larger articulated external display and higher resolution. I take lot's of pictures at family events and outings. People ask me to bring my camera because they want me to take pictures for them to use and keep. Most of my pictures are off the cuff, unprepared for and candid. This camera get's those kind of shots for me. For the price, features and quality of picture, it is hard to find more bang for the buck in a super zoom package this size and weight. Canon cameras just keep getting better and better.
