Comments about Nikon Nikon COOLPIX S6000 Silver 14.2 Megapixel Digital Camera Kit:

My 2003 Olympus was wonderful, but I wanted something more up to date with a quicker recharge, better backlight correction and "burst" mode without spending the money for an SLR. (I just take pics of the dogs, friends and kids!)My pictures with the Nikon have not been as clear as I would like and many have been blurred (unless using the sports/action mode). My ex-wife has a Canon point and shoot that was $30 less and seems to take a perfect picture every time (but doesn't have the burst mode, which is the reason I bought the Nikon.)I'm the first to admit that I have to spend a few hours studying the manual to figure out the 50 things this camera does and, hopefully, after studying it thoroughly, I'll come out with a better quality picture. So I may be judging too quickly, but I'm still impressed with my ex's Canon that had no learning curve at all. (She barely knows where to find the button to take the picture!)
