I take pictures of interesting scenery around San Francisco: Stow lake with the new goslings, ducks, and grey heron. Need it on shutter button very active creatures. Also take pictures of Golden Gate Bridge and unusual houses. Love the color and contrast.It's lightweight easy to carry. I would recommend a carrycase for it.

The customer service was excellent. I was calling from California and was unsure about purchasing online until I spoke to ABT people. I asked how long it takes to get here and he said four days and it was delivered on time nicely packaged, easy to unpack with all parts.

did alot of research on DSLR's before buying and I'm glad I picked the Nikon D3100...Started shooting the day I got it, the LCD sreen is great, live view to shoot movies works well.....after I took about 100 shots, connected it to my hdtv and WOW!! this camera is great, don't hesitate if your looking into this one!!!

I was looking for a really good camera that would allow me to take clear, steady photos of my sons during their fast moving sporting events. This camera is truly amazing, and it is pretty easy to use. I took a bout a hundred pics the first time I used it, and you could literally see every detail with NO BLUR! I haven't tried recording any movies yet, but that is next.

Anyway, great price, great camera, fun time!
