Lack of viewfinder and glare on screen make it extremely difficult to see what you are shooting outside in bright light. Took this camera to Europe and hated it outdoors most of the trip because it was so hard to see what I was shooting-hard to frame shot and know how far to zoom in or out. I've shot many pictures with older Nikon digital and Konica SLR without problem. Will keep this camera for indoor shooting where it is excellent, but will get a different camera with a viewfinder for next big vacation trip. Also has a slight lag in stopping with zoom, making it sometimes difficult to get exact focal length.

I needed a new camera to photograph my baby. I wanted somethign lightweight and smaller than an SLR to stash in my pocket when we go for walks so I can always be camera ready. This camera met my needs and everyone is happy to have new pictures of the baby.
