Comments about Panasonic Panasonic Black Lumix 7.2 MP Digital Camera:

I ordered this camera as a gift for my father who was interested in starting with digital. We both use SLRs regularly (he uses manual and I use digital), so we're pretty well versed in camera features and operation.

I played with this camera a bunch before I gave it to him and I like it so much, as a point and shoot, that I'm planning on ordering one for myself!

The camera is pretty simple to use and the variety of scene modes is really great.

The only drawback I could tell is that there is no viewfinder on the camera. You can only use the LCD screen for setting up shots. That may not make a difference to most, but it's just a comfort level for me. Also, there is a slight shutter lag, but that may also be just isolated to certain scene modes.

I also thought the pricing was very reasonable for the quality and was the least expensive I found for this particular camera.
