I have to admit that I bought this camera primarily to have a small and inexpensive device to carry for casual everyday use. But not only does it go with me nearly everywhere now, it has quickly become my go-to all-purpose camera even for serious picture-taking. In fact, I recently used it to document my nephew's wedding. It takes such great photos and is so easy to use, allowing a wide range of relatively intuitive functions, that I don't even bother anymore with the older, bigger, and far more expensive camera it replaced.
