CES 2026: JBL's Newest Headphones Announced
The newest headphones and earbuds by JBL were just announced at CES 2026 in Las Vegas, and we're pretty impressed. While JBL has a broad collection of portable audio (from speakers to over-ear headphones to earbuds) the latest additions are one word: exciting. The brand often comes out with new speakers, but the emphasis today has been on headphones, including their lineup of open-ear headphones.
The All-New Open-Ear JBL Endurance Zone
The brand's line of open-ear Endurance earbuds is crafted to bring your music with you on every workout, and the latest CES upgrade pushes boundaries with new models made for different fitness fanatics. We're impressed with the Endurance Zone, the brand's new open-ear sports earbuds—and a first for JBL. With OpenSound technology, an 18x11mm driver, dual beam-forming microphones, multipoint connection and an IP68 waterproof rating, these earbuds can do everything you need while you're on the move. Take a call, move through the rain, enjoy playlists rocked by heavy bass and enjoy a full eight-hour charge—all while you can still hear the outside world. The case holds 24 hours of charge, making these sporty earbuds a top-tier reveal at CES 2026. These should be available for $180 sometime in January.
JBL Endurance Peak 4
The Zone is clearly the top-tier model just announced, but there are more headphones in the JBL Endurance line that wow. The Endurance Peak 4 is a true wireless in-ear model that's an upgrade over its previous version, bringing each ear the best audio quality possible thanks to ANC (adaptive noise cancellation), spatial audio, 48 hours of playtime and a completely wireless workout. You can find these on shelves this month at an expected price of $130.
JBL Endurance Pace & JBL Endurance Run 3
Next, we're taking a look at the last two stars in the Endurance line: The Pace and the Run 3. The all-new Pace is crafted with an open-ear design and a strap that wraps comfortably around the back of the wearer's neck. These feature OpenSound just like the Endurance Zone—the main difference between the two designs here is the neckband. Great audio, IP68 water-resistance, 10 hours of charge and dual beam-forming mics make the Endurance Pace a great workout buddy—and thanks to the strap, you'll never have one fall out of your ear. The Endurance Pace will be a bit more budget-friendly at $89.95.
Next, the JBL Endurance Run 3. While these aren't the first in a series, the magnetic Endurance Run 3 are a classic in-ear wired headphone—made for fitness on a budget. Designed for comfort, extra bass and an IP65 rating, they come in two versions: a 3.5mm connector and a USB-C version that brings higher audio quality to every element of your fitness routine. No matter which version you choose, you're welcomed by 8mm dynamic drivers. The USB-C version is more expensive at $34.95 with a three-button onboard remote with microphone as well as higher resolution audio, while the 3.5mm version costs only $24.95 and features only a pause button.
JBL SoundGear Clips
With SoundGear Clips, we're back to the open-ear listening—this time with a clip-on style. The new SoundGear Clips are making their debut at CES 2026, and feature OpenSound technology like the JBL Endurance Zone and Endurance Pace. They look unlike any other earbud in JBL's collection, with a design that wraps around the exterior of your ear's center. The flexible wire hook is made with comfort and memory in mind: once it fits to your ear, you'll have no trouble quickly putting in the SoundGear Clips when you're on the go. And with the brand's air conduction tech and Adaptive Bass Boost tech, these earbuds will keep incredible music right where it's supposed to be: in your ears. They also feature touch controls, up to 32 hours of battery life, multiple microphones and an IP54 rating. They're set for release in March and will cost $150.
JBL Tune Series
Closing out our CES/JBL inspection is the brand's classic Tune lineup—and they've added eight new models. Between on-ear and over-ear headphones, there's something for everyone here. We believe that the most exciting model here is the over-ear Tune 780NC, with the Tune 680NC as a close second. Both introduce ANC, or adaptive noise cancelling plus JBL's Spatial Sound—all from these budget-friendly headphones. Instead of needing to save for different products by different brands, customers can now find these top features from JBL. Some of the other new models highlight boosted bass, refreshed designs and more. In the Tune collection, users can choose between wired and wireless, over-ear and on-ear, all to find the headphones that best fit their needs. And at CES 2026, all eight of these new additions are ready for the new year. They'll be available for purchase in June at varying price points, with the 780NC starting at $150.
