This microwave was purchased specifically for the microwave technology and I haven't been disappointed yet. We are not high-powered users, but the sensor mode for frozen and fresh vegetables actually work, edges of defrosted chops were less cooked, and reheating option seems to be acceptable. I did have some boil over on soup, but less that "on-off" type microwaves.
I will agree that Panasonic can improve the display contrast. You really have to look at it straight-on, but you have a much better microwave for the price.
Hopefully this microwave will perform for years to come. Our 3 year-old GE Profile appliances have become unreliable and the cost to repair (or replace) made this purchase a necessity.

The only problem we encountered was the Owner's Manual says the unit REQUIRES a separate 20 Amp electrical circuit. Our older home did not have this, [...] HOWEVER, the printed specifications in the Owner's Manual ALSO say the unit draws LESS THAN 15 Amps, so I plugged mine into a 15 Amp circuit and it seems to be working fine. But the buyer should be advised, this is quite confusing! I think this is Panasonic's error in not making it clear in the Owners Manual if the unit REALLY requires a 20 Amp circuit or not.

The unit was delivered as promised in time for Christmas in perfect condition. I was very impressed with the speedy service! I will definitely shop at ABT again.

Gave this as a Christmas gift to my mother, and we both love it. It has a nice design and it sensor cook works great. The display is a little hard to read but other than that great product
