Comments about Danby Danby Light Grey 60 Pint Dehumidifier:
The only concern I have with this product is that it does not automatically reset after a power outage. Otherwise, the results are just as described by Consmer Reports which ranks this dehumidifier as the best overall choice for large areas.

Comments about Danby Danby Light Grey 60 Pint Dehumidifier:
This is, so far, a great dehumidifier. It does a great job of drying out our large basement, it's relatively quiet, and it has a nice digital display and is easy to use. The only thing I don't like is the location (on the back) and ease of removing the water tank for emptying. The tank fits flush with the back of the unit and is a bit awkward to remove - especially when full. On the other hand, the only reason that I don't give this unit five stars is that it's too early to tell how long it will keep up the good work. Most of the dehumidifiers that I've owned do a fairly good job in the first 12-24 months. After that, they tend to go downhill, with mechanical breakdowns, very fast. Only time will tell with this one.
Very fast delivery. Well packaged. Great company.

We have the dehumidifier in our large 2400 foot basement. We could tell a difference in the first 24 hours. It is removing at least 60 pints of water a day.
