This is a quiet humidifier that covers over 1000 sq. ft. It quickly raised the humidity level in our living room and has kept it at 35% for over three weeks. It must be held up to fill, but I certainly don't find this a problem. I highly recommend this product.
The shipment was quick, and delivery was very prompt. It arrived in excellent condition.

Unit performed as advertised - it is difficult to fill; you have to turn the tank upside down - there are no handles to hold on to. Would have been nicer to have the fill on the top and be able to use a watering can or the like to fill it. Having said that, would definitely buy again especially from Abt.

I can definitely tell the difference it does a good job at combating the dry heat. It says it turns off when it reaches the proper humidity but that hasn't happened yet.
It does turn off automaticaly which makes me feel comfortable leaving it on while i sleep and leaving a full tank on while I'm out. Even with luke-warm water it plows cold air out.

I use this in my great room so the air isn't so dry from winter heating. It is attractive and works just fine. The one thing they could do to make this product more user-friendly is to put a flat top on it so filling it wouldn't be so awkward (you fill it from the bottom and have to hold it the whole time it's filling.)
