Great product. The air purifier is very quiet. However the humidifier seemed to develop a slight knocking sound when it runs. I will try to take out and put back in the filter. If it doesn't fix I will send it in for warranty repair.

I recently bought the KCC100U model. We recently moved to Dallas, TX from Raleigh and have developed some new allergies here. It is quiet, does a pretty good job in purifying air. I have had it for couple of days and can't really speak for the humidifier as I have not seen a significant difference in humidity yet. I can definitely say that the air quality has changed in the house. It is very well built. Took me about 5 mins to set it up. With a full water tank, it could be little heavy to move around the house. There is a switch to switch off the lights in the front panel and this comes handy in the night, if the unit is in your bedroom.Only thing that bothers me is the I don't know much about the health effects of the Plasmacluster Ion technology. The Sharp Canadian website does address this issueThe water in the humidifier lasts about a day on continuous running.Yes it is bad that we have to purify the air we breath in, but is lot better than the stuffy nose feeling that you will have all day if you don't use one.[...]

We use this machine as both a humidifier and an air purifier. So far it works great! Easy to use, seems to do a great job and is very well made. I would highly recommend this product.

I chose this store because this store has the lowest price of all. This is probably the best selling air-purifier in Japan right now. I had wanted it forever since I got bronchitis this year. All my friends who own this recommended to me, especially ones who have pets. It works very sensitive like when you turn it on when you clean your cat's toilet or when your cat is in the toilet, signals all turn RED to keep air in your room clean. Even moving your blanket around it turns on YELLOW to clean the air. It seems like it kills the order relatively good too. I haven't used humidifier part yet but I highly recommend this to anybody who have pets and babies.

I used it for my new born baby's room. The cold mist humidifier helps my baby breathe easier this winter months. This machine had a sensor that automatically stops when the normal room humidity was detected plus the air purifier is an added bonus. Loved it.

I keep it in my bedroom because I have allergies but my cat likes to sleep with me. It's made a noticeable difference in quality of sleep. I let it run on high for a few hours before I go to bed, then switch it to low and I can't even hear it. I wake up in the morning breathing freely with no runny nose!

great, unbelievably quite machine. the water tank set up is great. filters are great and large and easily cleanable and changeable. expensive, but after buying 2 $40 humidifiers that are now useless and difficult to clean, i am ok with this purchase price.

If you are looking for an air purifier with a little bit of added humidification, this is a great product--made well, engineered well, delightfully quiet. My sinuses feel better! But I need it to humidify much better. It can only manage 50%, and it's not even winter yet, when we'll REALLY need humidity. The small amount of water it holds is an indication that it just isn't geared up for the dry Midwest! I'll have to buy an additional humidifier, which I'm not happy about.

I love this air purifier. I've always had problems with dust and allergies in my bedroom and would wake up with allergies and a stuffy nose. I noticed immediately after doing the quick clean setting that I could actually breathe through my nose and just a sense of much cleaner air. The humidifier option is just great. A lot less need to dust around the room. I should have got one sooner!

Excellent air filter with good user interface. In particular, the status indicator showing how clean or dirty the incoming air is a great feature. Only drawbacks to this product are the price (it is in the upper range for its capacity) and the size of the humidifier tank, which needs frequent refilling during dry months.
