Excellent product. works good enough for me. Although, I didn't do my research. Venta makes an larger unit that I should have got instead of the two I have. as I recall, it suitable for 1500 or 1600sf.

thought this would help my wife w/ her allergies. didn't help her. works nice as a humidifier - but not so good as a air purifier. If you are looking for a two in one unit - you might need to look further or just buy two separate units. The other con of this unit is that you have to put in a quaternary ammonium chloride solution to keep the water from becoming moldy or bacteria laden. This chemical is caustic and is used in science labs to clean surfaces. It's not for me.

We have had a terrable time with dust in our home, we are surrounded by fields and with 4 parrots and 2 dogs the dust and dry air has caused alot of sinus problems.
In just a short time using the venta we can tell a big difference.
