Comments about Denon Denon 5.1 CH A/V Home Theater Receiver In Black:

I have owned AV receivers from Sony, Yamaha, Pioneer and Nakamichi. This is by far the best receiver I have ever owned. The setup is easy, the sound quality is spectacular--don't let the mere 75 watts/ch deceive you--this receiver will blow your neighbors away!! High current amplifiers are FAR superior to high wattage amplifiers. I have this attached to Klipsch KG-10 front speakers, Quintet rears, a Klipsch powered subwoofer and center channel and I have never heard such power and clarity.

Comments about Denon Denon 5.1 CH A/V Home Theater Receiver In Black:

Nice sounding well built gear. A little higher priced than some equivalent equipment but beats those in sound quality. Somewhat limited in terms of inputs for older, non-HDMI equipment. Confusing set up and remote operation but manageable. Note that though not a multi zone receiver, it does have ouputs for B speakers. However, no options to set up the B speakers differntly from the As. A great choice for basic home theater or second system as I am using it for.

Service & Delivery comments:

Have purchased from Abt several times. Good purchasing experience and service, as comunications. Prompt delievry. Note better prices can be negotiated which has been key to my continued business.

Comments about Denon Denon 5.1 CH A/V Home Theater Receiver In Black:

I use this receiver for football games, movies and music. Very clean sound. Powers my Polk Monitor 50 speakers to loud levels, but not as loud as I liked in college. HDMI passthrough works well with my U-verse tv receiver, as well as my Panasonic Blu-ray player. Setup isn't bad if you don't mind reading the manual. [...]has some guides on setting up Denon receivers, which simplified the process.

Im using this in a 15 x 16 room, and delivers as advertised. Yes this unit is basic and is priced accordingly but when used in accordance with its design it shines.

Comments about Denon Denon 5.1 CH A/V Home Theater Receiver In Black:

I don't own, nor do I plan to own, 7 speakers. This amp provides all of the necessary video switching and signal processing without the cost of the extra two channels.
The detail it looks at when doing the auto-setup is astounding.
All of this keeping in mind the price.

Service & Delivery comments:

Quick delivery. Huge outer box was damaged, but the foot of airbags around the product kept it in perfect condition.
