Only had it set up for a few days but it was an easy set up and easy to use. So far the sound is very clear (with Polk speakers)and it took very little effort to have a home theater.

I purchased this receiver this past Saturday. I have 7.1 setup w/ new Infinity speakers and a new Panasonic TH-42PX600U Plasma, 42". I have the Cable Box and DVD player connected to this receiver using HDMI cables and then an Xbox and old Playstation hooked up through the component connections. This is where the HDMI upconversion is great. I just have the 1 HDMI cable running to the TV and I can swith to all the components I listed. The Audyssey Speaker setup works fantastic. I didn't have to go back and tweak anything. I put in Saving Privat Ryan and watched the first 30 minutes, I felt like I was in the middle of the Normandy invasion. I found the setup fairly easy. I didn't spend much time with the manual. After 20 or 30 minutes playing with all the settings, it was easy to figure out.

This is a great receiver

Once I had the system set-up and understood how all the functions worked I loved this receiver. It sounds great with my KEF speakers and with my high definition DVD player. For the price it would be difficult to find a better unit.
