Used for listening to music (radio, ipod, CD, Pandora) - all sounds good. For Movies in Surround sound (currently only using 5.1 although system is capable of 7.1.
Once product came off of backorder it showed up within a week. Product was in perfect condition (box and contents). When working with Customer Service and Technical Services they were great to work with. I have recommended Abt to many friends.

Provided you genuinely do READ the set-up manual, this was a cinch to connect to the TV, DVD, etc.
One critique: the speaker cables were not long enough for the rear back set when placed in large room. Be prepared to buy some more cable, though there would be sufficient for medium sized rooms.

The system is awesome. I am just amazed. One down side. HDMI connection 4 which is for Cable or labled for cable had some kind of problem. Easy fix just assigned it to HDMI 3, and changed the setup. Other than that, I love it.

I use this system to watch movies and sports.It is amazing to hear all the sounds that you never hear through tv speakers.I also use it to play video games with my son,you can hear every sound!!!

awesome product that exceeded my expectations. so impressive my friend is getting rid of his sony and polk system. this is a great middle of the road system easy enough for beginners with some more advanced features for avid users. the speakers are of much higher quality then i imagined very impressive sound response. the remote control leaves much to be desired but i dont plan on using the factory remote anyway. definitely buy some better speaker wire the included wire is cheap and thin and just not long enough to adequately hide the wires. even the subwoofer coaxial cable was a little too short
i ordered this product on a saturday and received it that thursday considering it was a 100 pound box and the shipping was through a trucking company that was really impressive abt.com service was awesome as well with great customer service when i called to get the tracking number. i will definitely start ordering from here more often. and i will recommend to all of my friends this is one online reseller that can deliver impressively

This system is really good for the money. I had omeone install all the wires in the walls and hang speaker brackets for me so it was pretty much plug and play from there. The on screen menus could be more attractive but it really doesnt matter when sound is what your interested in. The remote was easy to program to my other home video equipment. The system calibrated itself with the use of a calibration mic, which was really neat. The sound quality is great. I use it to watch all my shows, bluerays from my ps3, games, dvds and mp3s. The sound is so great that my cats are always looking around when it is on because its so clear coming out of the different channels it sounds lifelike. Im even hearing people on the sets of the tv shows dropping things or talking in the background which I would otherwise never hear. Im very happy with my system. Coupled with my sony lcd hdtv and the blueray disks I feel like I dont even want to go to the movies now that I can enjoy them at what I feel is better quality in my own home on the couch.

Looks good, could have used a few more controls on the receiver, but I like the remote. Sounds great with PS3, XBOX 360 and movies
ABT is Awesome- was not in stock, but it shipped as expected-actually arriving earlier than anticipated by a few days!
Price was the best on the internet-hands down!

Great with the PS3 and Action Movies. 7.1 may be overkill for most movies now but this is the way to get theater quality sound for a great price.

Terrific sound - but takes a long time to set up. This is primarily due to very poorly written, highly complex directions that are really written for the audiophile and not the average consumer.
