I had an older RCA system when my son bought a Sony unit, I knew I had to upgrade. My wife said the one we had was "fine", now she absolutely sees the difference. The set up was easy, the speakers are nice and have great sound for the small size. It syncs up nicely with our Sony Bravia t.v. Although we've had surround sound for years, it's with this unit that we truly experience the "theater atmosphere" at home.

I purchased this system as an open item and I must say, I was truly impressed with it...especially for the price. The bass of the subwoofer is surprising, especially if you place it in the corner of the room. I almost purchased a system for double the price, but went home extremely pleased with this product. I'd definitely recommend this system if you're looking for something simple, yet impressive. Keep in mind that the interface is real simple with very few buttons; therefore, you rely on the remote to do most audio adjustments.
