Comments about Sharp Sharp Micro Component System:

I am not an audiophile, but enjoy listening to classical music and have a number of classical CDs. I was looking for a compact, inexpensive system that would support a maximum number of CDs (which seems to be 5, in this category), and play continuously. This system met those criteria. I find the sound quality excellent. I listen in a small room and do not crank the volume up, so can't say how powerful this system is, but for normal listening, I think it's wonderful.
System was easy to put together and to use, instructions are clear. Radio reception is also good.
My only complaint, which is probably universal in products such as this, is that the components are supposed to be placed at least 4" apart, which meant the system would not fit where I had hoped to put it -- I had to move one of the speakers (longer speaker wire would have made this task easier).

Comments about Sharp Sharp Micro Component System:

yes like others said while the cd changes from one to another, it is a little noisy. But my other cd player does the same thing so no biggie. And if you set the time on the display the light does turn off when you power it off, so it does not bother you at night.

This is a very nice "low end" system that has very clean sound and nice features such as the Mp3 CD and the USB jack plus a jack for an external Sub.

Excellent value for the many features and the high quality of sound.

I'm so pleased I found your website and on it, exactly what I was looking for and could not find in any store. Use it daily but wish the annoying, blinking blue light would turn off when the power is off.

Comments about Sharp Sharp Micro Component System:

I like this unit a lot. The sound is surprisingly good. The only things I don't like are the noisy CD changer, and that many functions cannot be accessed without the remote. I much prefer being able to access all functions from the remote or from the front panel.

Adequate System for under [...]

Comments about Sharp Sharp Micro Component System:

The CD - Random Play feature is a JOKE! Even with 5 CD's it will play the same song (randomly?) 3 to 5 times within 30 min.s.No manual equalizer settings makes for only fair sound quality. But for under [$] I guess it's not bad...

Comments about Sharp Sharp Micro Component System:

We bought it for the upstairs (surround sound and home theater downstairs in family room)...gotta have music while I cook - and that's a lot - so it's in the kitchen/dining area. We plugged it into existing in-ceiling speakers and it works great. The random play doesn't function so well though...doesn't get to all the songs on the 5 disk changer but it's o.k. [...]

Comments about Sharp Sharp Micro Component System:

I am an audio engineer and recording studio owner. I purchased this unit for my workout room, which is in our 2 car garage. I had listened to a number of units in a store before buying and liked this the best.

It really does sound great! For the price it's fantastic. The only drawback is that the USB input doesn't work with iPods, but we can still connect the iPod by using the Aux. input.

Great unit.

Service & Delivery comments:

abt really seems to be one of the best online retailers I've used. Very fast shipping and well packaged as well as the best price I could find.

Comments about Sharp Sharp Micro Component System:

I just bought this last week and I love it. The sound quality is amazing. The only thing I don't like is that when your listening to your CD you have to use the remote if you want to change it to the next song, you can't do it on the stereo itself. Other than that I am very happy
