This system is well designed (minus the display lights) and good sounding. It is by no means an audiophile level system despite the cost. The bass is very deep and extended yet boomy at times. However, for those who enjoy a system with serious power, that has all the standard features and can play MP3 CDs - then purchase this system. Teenagers, college students and gamers in particular will love this unit.
