This is a wonderful product, looks great, cleans well. It doesn't dry as well and the interior is a bit small but plenty of room for us.

Our delivery was prompt and friendly! I have found all the ABT folks to be professional, uber helpful, and friendly. We'll be back for our other kitchen products.

Comments about Bosch Bosch Evolution 800 Series 24" Stainless Steel Undercounter Dishwasher:

I like this dishwasher for the quietness, ease of operation and clean design. It cleans all types of dishes and pans well with few exceptions on the auto wash cycle. I've only used the wash plus a few times for more heavily soiled pans. The only complaint I have is that the tines in the upper rack do not hold bowls securely. When I push the rack in after I load the dishes, no matter how gently, the bowls fall out of position and scatter. Placing a coffee mug in front of the front bowl helps keep them secure. The Maytag dishwasher I had before didn't have this problem.

Service & Delivery comments:

Delivery was prompt-the dishwasher arrived 4 days after I ordered and was in perfect condition. Very happy with Abt!

Comments about Bosch Bosch Evolution 800 Series 24" Stainless Steel Undercounter Dishwasher:

Very quiet, hardly know it's running. It does clean better than the the GE that can with the house we bought, however, it still leaves a ring of dirt around some glasses and dried on food on some of the silverware. Overall, it is MUCH better than the GE, which we would literally have to wash everything by hand after the cycle was over.

Service & Delivery comments:

Delivery was quick and the installer was excellent and very knowledgeable!

Comments about Bosch Bosch Evolution 800 Series 24" Stainless Steel Undercounter Dishwasher:

My kitchen has a vaulted 20' ceiling that is very open to the rest of the house. Sound bounces off all the hard surfaces of appliances, floors, and countertops and is amplified throughout the house, so we chose this dishwasher primarily for silence -- and we couldn't be more pleased. All we hear is a trickle of water when the machine is filling or draining. I love the Rinse & Hold feature and the energy saving features of the machine, like Auto Wash which senses how clean the rinse water is to determine whether a second rinse is really necessary. I'm also delighted with how well all my stuff fits in this very adaptable, extremely well designed machine. In our old GE dishwasher my oversize dinner plates barely fit and always knocked into each other, resulting in chipped plates, and I often had quite a few "leftover" things to wash by hand after cramming that GE to capacity. But the Bosch fits EVERYTHING, and it's really easy to move the top rack up or down to fit different loads, even to take the top rack out altogether for really big things. No more washing my giant lobster pot by hand -- yahoo!! Not only does the dishwasher perform perfectly and nearly soundlessly, but it looks fantastic installed in the kitchen as well. I only wish we'd done this sooner. No regrets; life is too short to fight with a lousy dishwasher when a beautiful Bosch is right around the corner.

Service & Delivery comments:

The dishwasher arrived quickly as promised, in perfect condition.

Beautiful dishwasher with lots of adjustable settings -- glass racks, a knife rack, everything is movable. Love it!

Service & Delivery comments:

Dishwasher installation was seamless; they replaced a 15-year-old Kitchenaid and made it a precise fit, also had to work with crazy plumbing/wiring left by our home's previous owner (it's a 110-year-old victorian with a lot of issues). We're so pleased.

Comments about Bosch Bosch Evolution 800 Series 24" Stainless Steel Undercounter Dishwasher:

In a word, this is a superb product. My wife and I researched options very thoroughly, including observing a similar Bosch (repeatedly: they insist on demo-ing every time we visit!) at a friend’s. When the new Bosch arrived, I had just uninstalled my 1992 Maytag—serviceable but extremely loud—and having the two units side-by-side in my back patio underscored what I got for the significantly greater cost. The Maytag, with its light blanket of insulation, exposed motor, and other exposed trappings looked, well, utilitarian. The Bosch, with its dense envelope of thick batting, solid, enclosed foundation (heavy gauge plastic and metal) and elegant design is a work of art.

Instructions for installation and operation are very good. Be prepared to supply your own water (I chose a shielded, “flood-safe” cable) and electricity. Be prepared also for the solid profile, which may cause installation challenges. Although the Bosch has standard dimensions, there are no extra, unused spaces within those dimensions that you can use, as I did with the old unit, to wiggle the machine over or around obstacles, like floor tiling or plumbing fixtures. I had to remove tiles to squeeze the Bosch in at my old house because the tiles had been added later and because the Maytag had extra open space around the feet I could use to avoid things. Electrical and water service points are very thoughtfully designed and easily accessible, though the toe plate cover requires a tricky maneuver to fit, so beware! Took me about 3-4 hours to install—I’m reasonably handy—but that was largely because I discovered the service was not properly grounded (good thing to discover!) and I chose to re-do my water supply and filter under the sink.

The unit looks great in place. But its operation is what floored me. I have no idea how testers managed to record 46db, the specifications on this unit. I cannot hear it when it’s running, except when water’s running through the air gap and a little bit of motor noise at the end of a pump cycle. Filling and washing are absolutely silent! No more closed captioning on the TV when we’re running the dishes! Whoo-hoo!!!

This unit has the Eco features that detect water cleanliness and temp and use water very intelligently. I live in Albuquerque, so that’s something we’re very conscientious about. Its “normal” Auto-Wash cycle runs about two hours, which is longer than the similar cycle in the Maytag, but there are options that run as quickly as ½ hour. Dishes have been spotless in the two weeks since I installed. End-of-cycle beep can be adjusted or turned off easily. Loading is a little different than the Maytag, but much more flexible. The unit uses filtering so that’s something we have to watch that wasn’t the case with the Maytag, but it’s not a pain at all. The only thing I wish is that the silverware basket might be a little taller: it supports silverware, but doesn’t confine items as effectively as the Maytag. Hasn’t been a problem so far, but I can imagine something banging on a plate accidentally with the new setup.

All in all, this is one of the finest appliances I’ve ever owned. I’m completely pleased with this unit.

Service & Delivery comments:

Abt had the best deal and was very easy to work with. We did have an issue with delivery--the original unit was reported as "damaged at the dock" by the carrier before it left Chicago, and communicating that to me was less than effective--but the extra week delay incurred wasn't too bad. I would buy from Abt again based on this experience, which was my first with this company.

Comments about Bosch Bosch Evolution 800 Series 24" Stainless Steel Undercounter Dishwasher:

Had this product for three weeks and don't have anything bad to say about it. Would like to have seen the fittings to get out of the water inlet sent with the machine. Had to take an extra trip to the hardware store during install. It was on the instructions but who reads them. The machine is as quiet as advertised. There is a thermometor on the front of the machine that that tells you what the temp inside is so that when it stops you don't open it up to hot steam. Though a little expensive this machine has performed above my expectations. Time will tell on durability

Service & Delivery comments:

As a person that doesn't do alot of internet buying I would tip my hat to the people at ABT. Done alot of research on the product that I picked checked pricing and ABT provided the best value for the product and it was in stock. Odered a dishwasher on Sunday and it showed up at my house on Wednesday. Three days is all it took, ABT exceeded my expectations. I WOULD DEFINATELY CALL ABT THE NEXT TIME I PURCHASE A PRODUCT THAT THEY SELL.
