I bought this on aesthetic, so it's my own fault that I ended up with a piece of junk. It never cleaned very well, it leaked, the door make a very loud horrible creaking noise every single time we opened it from the VERY FIRST DAY. Now, [$] in less than 2 years, it has a faulty vent motor. in other words, it will cost as much to repair as it would to buy a new one. and that's what we are doing. we're getting a Bosch

I've owned four houses and many different dishwashers. We are so happy with this dishwasher that we bought the same one for our vacation home. The dishwasher is quiet and easy to use. I love the hidden control panel. Most importantly, the dishes are clean and spotless right out of the dishwasher!

At one and a half years old this dishwasher is about to be repaired for the 5th time(maybe even 6th, I have lost count). The control panel has a mind of its own and starts whenever it feels like it. Look somewhere else for a dishwasher unless you want to get to know the repairman by his first name.

Against my husbands better judgement, I bought this dishwasher as an upgrade, mostly because I thought the Frigidaire Professional Series appliances were so pretty. I decided to go ahead and purchase the dishwasher and hoped for the best, I didn't want my husband to prove me wrong as he had seen some negative reviews about many Frigidaire appliances.

I loaded a few dishes to test how well it performed, it was extemely quiet and I was starting to question if it was even working. I could hear the water fill and the tiny front display said it was washing. I opened the door many times to see if the arms were even spinning and I then found out that they were not. My dishes never got wet so we played around with it a few hours thinking maybe there was some sort of packaging left inside to prevent them from moving during shipping. This wasn't the case, it wasn't working at all. We thought maybe it was an electrical problem so we turned it completely off and reset the breaker thinking maybe it was just a fluke. After that, the power wouldn't even come on.

The installation guy came back out and the breaker was turned back on, the power strip started flashing and he couldn't get it to do anything, said it was a complete defect. They are coming back to uninstall it and giving me a complete refund.

The feautures on this dishwasher are nice, if they worked. The only positive thing I have to say about it is that it's the most beautiful appliance in it's class, and that's about it. Save your frustrations and go with a different dishwasher.

Overall, the styling and cleaning performance are top notch.

That being said, I think the other reviewers need hearing aids because this is the loudest dishwasher I have ever owned. They are correct that you don't hear the motors, but that may be because the water sloshing sound is so loud! I'm not kidding, I added insulation below the washer by its kick-plate and that helped a lot, but the sloshing noise is pretty bad.

As another reviewer noted, the drying cycle is questionable. I'm going to try the heated drying on my next batch and see if it makes difference. My previous dishwasher didn't require heated drying for the dishes to come out nearly dry.

I think this is a classic case of getting what you pay for. Consider that all other stainless steel models from other manufacturers are roughly $200 more on up for the same features.

I had all but stopped cooking because of the mess. This dishwasher actually gets the dishes clean, so I'm back to cooking and baking. It is a bit small and the cycle times are long, but this is a trade-off I'm willing to make.
