I thought that it was all metal construction but found out that the meat holder/guide is of all plastic construction. It cuts well but the slide doesn't work smoothly at times. The list price of [$] is ridiculous, but at [$] I should be able to recoup my money in a year or so on coldcut savings, although [$] would be more in line with what it's worth.
