Have a 34 inch flat screen, conventional Phillips. This worked perfectly for holding the VCR and DVD player.

This TV top shelf was purchased for my mother-in -law. She is in a nursing home with very limited space....this was perfect and practical.

Not for newer LCD tv's

This product does not fit my 52" LCD tv. I just bought the tv and ordered this shelf before I ever took the tv out of the box. My tv is 4" deep with a flat back and there is no way this shelf will fit. This was designed for DLP and CRT tv's only, not LCD. 3 stars because the product feels sturdy and would probably work great on a deeper tv set.

This shelf fit perfectly on top of my large screen tv. The adjustable legs with sticky pads makes it very secure for my surround sound middle speaker.

Have a Polk center channel speaker that just didn't fit in my old TV stand and many of the ones I looked at online wouldn't have accommodated it either. So I ran into this option, bought it, set it up pretty easily, and the room is back in order. It fits well on my 50" DLP. ABT had the best price and it was shipped very fast.

Cool trick that others have mentioned. You can assemble it upside down and use the front lip to hold on to the TV instead of those two pegs.

I'm using it so support an Axiom Audio VP150 V2 center channel, which weighs in at nearly 22 lbs. It stays put and doesn't wobble at all. I'll probably buy another one to put the DVD player on top!

The Omni center stand was tricky to assemble but rewording when done. Looks good and hold well the speaker. One thing is that the front pins chrome color did not went well with the set so I covered is with back shrink tube. I wish the solution was part of the kit. I recommend it.

I love this stand for projection size tvs. I bought two projection sets that I love a few years ago and only bought one stand. I am now buying another stand for the 2nd tv. This solves the problem of where to put components and speakers on that type of set.

This shelf will not fit all TVs. I have a Sony 27" CRT TV where the pitch of the back was such that the back shelf legs wouldn't fit (too long). I got around the problem by using two of the square holes at the rear edge of the shelf instead of the holes provided.

The front pegs may be too long for some TVs and get in the way of the screen, but they work fine on my Samsung DLP. Does a good job holding my center speaker.

The Omnimount was easy to assemble. It does not fit on my TV so that the TiVo box is level (the provided legs are too long), but it is a lot better than what I had been using (a roll of tape to hold the box off the TV). The appearance is not great, but it is a lot better than some of the other similar products I looked at. The steel construction is much better than the fiberboard or composite material of similar products.

Least clunky looking of all the cable box / vcr platforms that I found. high quality. Wish they made something similar for locating the cable box below the tv, but all I could find was cheap plastic laminate or wood shelves for that. i would recommend this.
