This is a wonderful GPS. Text to speech is very helpful. The maps are great and very accurate! It could lead me to streets I never knew existed and cut my travel by 10 minutes or more! I saved at least 10 minutes on my commute and I went on a recent trip to NC and it guided me flawlessly. The interface is easy to learn and the design is a beauty. Go for it.

I went to [...] to test drive a few competing GPS devices including Garmin, Magellan, and Mio. I was pretty set on getting the Mio because of the features to price ratio, but a friend recommended the TomTom. I downloaded the manual and was pretty happy with what I saw and when I read about the MapShare feature I quickly ordered one.I am very pleased with the TomTom 720. I wanted something that was packed with features, affordable, and easy to use. The screen during navigation mode is clutter free, but all of the features like points of interest, or detouring is simply a tap or 2 away. The battery life only lasted a few hours, but I'm not surprised since the back light is always on (you can adjust the brightness).I like the MapShare feature and I love how I can provide map feedback such as a road doesn't exist or a road is misnamed. I was disappointed that my TomTom didn't have a lot of the points of interest my friend's Nuvi has, but it is very easy to add your own.I was so happy with my TomTom 720 that I purchased one for my brother for Christmas.

The navigation with Tom Tom Go720 is a breeze. I have used other Models but this is the best I have received. It's so easy to install and the features are excellent, especially the Text-to-Spech and the Blue tooth technology.One can't find such a great device at this price. Excellent in all respects.Go Ahead for this GPS without any second thoughts.Period!

At first I wasn't sure between this or the Garmen, but once I used this and saw that I integrates with my Treo 755P, I had to have it. Had a bit of a tough time getting the two devices to communicate but after I go them to communicate Its been an amazing device.
