It works OK. I haven't gotten it wet so far, so I can't judge it's water resistance.

We bought this product to replace our previous Sony Marine Commander that had gone out. We love it! Very durable for the conditions it receives (ie sun, moist environment & jostling from the boat). Easy to install and came with all the wiring. It does stick out a bit but you can recess it and will do just fine. I burned CD's from iTunes and it shows the titles and CD labels in the window. The controls are very easy to use.
Delivery was excellent...right on time. Brand new condition as described. We did make a call before purchasing to customer service and they were very helpful.

These remote are working good so far. I got them to replace the shotty older Sony remotes that quite working in my boat. I like the new display function showing songs titles. Buttons seam more sturdy than the older Sony marine remote and less likely to go to max volume if someone accidently presses the vol + button. So far so good.
