Comments about Wayne Wayne 12-Volt Battery Back-Up System:
Wayne installation manuel advises not to let pump run dry. The pump will run aprox. 20 sec. if there is water or not in the sump when tested. I suspected a faultly float switch when the pump did not shut off once all the water was gone. The pump had not run the full 20 sec. cycle . Float switch was ok.
