I use this product to display my images as well as an alarm clock. It is really cool to display my images, however, it doesn't allow to transfer off Iphone. I have had this clock freeze on me several times, however unplugging and plugging it back in cures that issue. I have had it once miss my wake up, luckily I have my iphone alarms as a backup. I really want to completely like this clock, but the User Interface and be made more friendlier. I really like that I can watch my movies and listen to my iphone off the charger on the main screen. I was hoping for a bigger impact with this dream machine over my Logitech, but it almost just beats it. What I do like is the wake up the screen turns bright blue and either a buzzer that slowly starts increasing its tempo or however else you have the alarm set. Do be aware, the more times you hit the snooze button at once, the longer the snooze session.

The options offered, while good, are locked in -- once the alarm goes off, it's not possible to dim the light; the preset stations started at option six and it does not seem possible to reset the preset once you've set them (i.e., I set a station on preset six, but would rather this be preset three -- it doesn't appear that I'm able to reset this preset.)

First the bad. For some reason, Sony has to come up with their own User Interface that has no intuitive aspects like MS Windows or Apple iPhone. Even their PS3 seems to be easier to operate than this clock radio. Like their video recorders and cameras, this has a menu interface that just plain sucks. I own a lot of Sony products so I am use to it. Sony is by far a top notch brand when it comes to electronics. But, for some reason configuring/setting/operating their products from the user interface just doesn't seem intuitive. I still can't figure out how to eliminate the demo pictures from the slide show. I guess I need to cable it to my computer and manually delete them. Also, why is demo mode on by default. This should be an option to turn on. Also, it would be nice if the iPhone/iPod dock could come all the way out without pulling on it. It seems kind of feeble.

Now the good. Leave it to Sony to be the market leader. They may not be as innovative as Apple, but this clock radio is riddled with features. The best is the iPhone/iTouch docking station that charges. I wish there were two of these, one on each side. Having two alarms and the different ways to display the time with pictures is cool. I like the fact it came with a decent size of internal memory as well as places for memory cards and not for just Sony proprietary memory sticks. Waking up to a personal recording of your children or music from the radio or even a favorite mp3 is great. I've had it over a month and still finding new cool things that it could do. I still haven't played any video on it yet and I am wondering if I can answer the docked iPhone from the clock radio.

Duel alarms are easy to set. Enjoy the photo side show and display options. It's great for playing and charging my iPhone. The different wake-up options are nice.

I use this mostly as an alarm clock. It really needs a Remote! It's on my dressing table located about 10 feet away from by bed. Why don't I move it next to the bed? I like it on the dressing table so that I can enjoy the photos while getting my makeup on each morning. I wouldn't be watching the photos while lying in bed.

Another thing, you can't delete the stock photos. So, included with my grandkids' photos is this child that doesn't belong.

With the addition of a remote and ability to delete the stock photos, I would be 100% satisfied.

It works great and has tons of features. At first I was worried about the display being too bright but it is easy to turn down before going to sleep. My only complaint is that you can't transfer music or pictures directly from your iPhone, but at least you can still play music from it as well as charge it at the same time.

Great product except for one major problem. Sony has included some preset photos, including a photo of a child, that cannot be deleted. So even though you get a hefty 1 GB of storage, these preset photos will always appear in your slide show and there's nothing you can do about it. Not sure what Sony was thinking. Why would they think people would want a photo of a stranger's child rotating in their slide show? A remote would have been nice, but if you use it as a bedside alarm, it's not necessary.
