Play CD for 1/2 to 1 Hour per day. CD has 2 tracks, each 1/2 hour. 2nd track played after completing 1st track. This player requires manual change to 2nd tract instead of automatically proceeding from the 1st to the 2nd.

The Instruction sheet was very helpful and easy to use. This little unit does everything I ordered it for and using the remote in the dark is very easy. I purchased this unit to play CDs and MP3 discs. It does and I'm enjoying it.

the best thing about this cd mp3 player is that it has easy access to the buttons to stop and start etc. The sound quality is good, but it does not match the cd mp3 player I used to own. Basically I was spoiled by my PANASONIC SHOCKWAVE SL-SW965V mp3 cd player WHICH WAS GREAT. THE SONY DOES NOT HAVE THE BASE RESPONSE MY OTHER PLAYER DID, IT DOES NOT LET THE CD KEEP ON PLAYING. IT HAS NO WAY TO CONNECT IT TO THE BODY. ALSO IT TAKES A LITTLE GETTING USED TO HOW TO OPEN THE LID TO PUT THE CD ON. IT IS MUCH LIGHTER THAN MY PANASONIC. THE SKIP PROTECTION SEEMS TO BE ABOUT THE SAME BUT I HAVE NOT REALLY TESTED YET ON ROUGH DRIVING. ALL IN ALL, THE SONY PLAYER IS GOOD, SOUNDS GOOD, BUT YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. LAST TIME I BOUGHT THE PANASONIC IT WAS AROUND EIGHTY DOLLARS. I WOULD HAVE PURCHASED IT AGAIN BUT I COULD NOT FIND IT FOR SALE ANYWHERE I ONLY HAD [$] SO I GOT THE SONY. IF YOU WANT THE GREATEST GO TO THE PANASONIC WEBSITE AND GET THE LATEST VERSION OF WHAT I HAD, BUT FOR [$] YOU CAN'T BEAT THE SONY. IF I HAD NOT OWNED THE PANASONIC EARLIER, I WOULD HAVE THOUGHT THE SONY WAS GREAT. GOOD LUCK IN YOUR DECISION.

I really like this cd player. The only problem is changing disks. The latch to release the top is on the side, and unless you can put the player down on a table or something you will probably drop the unit as I have several times, however the player is durable and works after dropping. The sound is great, and that is really the most important thing.
