The radio sounded great, and the size was small. However, we couldn't read the dial, so had trouble finding stations and returned the radio. Abt suggested a similar radio (1) with a different dial background. The new one doesn't have speakers. We ordered that and are satisfied. It cost half as much and has good, as opposed to outstanding, sound.
