Best MP3 player I own that strictly does music (no video). Better sound quality and reliability then my $800 archos video MP3 player and much lighter and easier to use then my $300 creative MP3 player. The 2 gig capacity just for music is great for me and most of the 30 gig space on my creative player is left empty. The hat clip for the sony seems fragile but hasn't broken yet under my heavy abuse. The belt clip/arm band seems very well made.

It was a little difficult learning how to transfer music to it the first time but now I've got the hang of it and am very happy. Some people may not like having to use the Sony software that comes with it but I don't mind.

I lovet he sound and the earbuds block out the outside noise very good. It's very light and the recharging feature is great. I use it to work out but I'm not happy with Sony arm band/clip that was purchased seperately. The arm band only fits around my forearm and the clif is too small and keeps "poping out",

Setup was a nightmare on my PC. The setup instructions are scant and poorly written. To be fair, I was able to set it up on another PC without problems. My machine is older and needed more "tweaking". Sony tech support was poor. I had to fix the problems on my own. Once set up, it has been great! You can only load songs with the supplied software, which works pretty well.

overall i enjoyed the product and i think it was a good deal for the money and i am pleased with the product. my only complaint is that the controls are sometimes complicated and makes it difficult to navigate through music and it easy to leave on accidently, which drains the battery.
