The Netflix feature has been great. The streaming quality is much better than expected, and very fast loading. No hanging-up, no buffering. I've been addicted to it since the day I bought it, and lots of good content available that I might not have otherwise put in my mail queue.

The only glitch I've found so far is audio/video not syncing, but this has only happened once and may have been a problem with the specific content I was viewing.

The BluRay quality is as good as expected and certainly one of the best for the money, especially with the added Netflix features.

The unit works great but I always feel ripped off when I buy something and then have to go back and get a cable for it. It should come with the HDMI cable.

Also, I hooked it up to the Internet and with simple update, the Netflix streaming worked flawlessly. I really like having 12000 movies that I can watch at a moments notice.

I got a Sony Blu-Ray for Christmas and then realized that if I got a Netflix capable one I could watch movies instantly at home. So I returned it and got the LG. I absolutely LOVE it. And the picture quality is great. Best gift I've gotten in a long time!

It is nice to have Netflix instant movies. If you have a guest to watch a movie with and there taste is not the DVD that you have at hand, you can pick a movie to watch in a matter of just a few moments, from Netflix.

We're all going to have a blu-ray player eventually, so why not buy the one that gives you instant access to immediately download movies from Netflix.

The cost upside versus a regular blu-ray player is less than $100, so why not buy what you know you want.

The only downside is that the Netflix works best with a fast internet connection (cable, DSL, etc.) and it also works best with a wired connection to your router (no wireless -- bummer).

We use this service a lot, and the movie quality is excellent.

I am a bit of a gadgets geek and don't mind complicated menus, cables and set-up, but sometimes we all need something to work easily and without a lot of fuss. This thing took five minutes too unpack, set up and master the basic operation. I have since bought three more. Ideal for technophobes.

The product works good, but I have had a few issues with the product. One time, the menu would not show up on the TV. The LG logo would come up and then it just went blank. I just was getting audio. Did the usual stuff like reseating cables, resetting the box (as recommended in the instructions), and no luck.

Unfortunately, I had to call LG Service and the person on the other end of the phone was horrid! After doing no troubleshooting, she eventually just asked for my address to send a return form for the item.

Afterwards, I discovered the actual issue was that the TV had to be turned off and on! I later got the form and my name was mispelled beyond recognition, which shows how much the tech understood.

The Netflix portion works - but I have to reset the ethernet router a lot. I never had to do that when I had the router connected to dish. I'm not sure if this is a Netflix issue or the product itself.

Quality of the BlueRay player is good. I bought this product for the NetFlix Online feature, but I would probably try a different brand if I were to do this again. Too many problems and not enough support.

I knew the picture quality would be great on the Blu-Ray and it didn't disappoint. The feature that amazed me was the Netflix streaming. I already had a Netflix subscription but had never taken advantage of the streaming. Streaming SD movies was OK, streaming HD movies was unbelievably great. I would highly recommend this DVD player.

Being a technical idiot, I figured that getting the Netflix feature to work would involve a weekend on the phone with tech support. I plugged this thing in, followed the on screen instructions, typed a 4 digit code into the Netflix web site from my computer and it was fired up. You merely go to the Netflix site on your computer and browse under the "instant watch" tab, click your selection and it is on your TV. I opened the Netflix site from my office this morning and it told me what I watched at home last night...how does it know? I can also add to my home TV queue from my office, even with different e-mail addresses. The quality is equal to a normal DVD. I am amazed and pleased.

I bought this to replace a 4yr old DVD player, so I was prepared to be impressed, but I wasn't expecting everything to be so *easy*! I plugged everything in, including the ethernet, switched it all on and -boom- it updated its firmware and I was watching content from Netflix within 5 minutes. Setup with the Harmony universal remote was also very simple. HD picture over HDMI is great on my old (but large) rear-projection set, I like the menus and the little things (like starting a disc at the last position, even after playing other discs in between).
Only real gripe has been a problem on trying to 'rewind' a DVD during playback, causing the device to freeze up and restart itself. This seems to be intermittent, but hasn't happened since the last firmware update a couple of days ago, so fingers crossed. I also haven't found a way to play fullscreen DVDs without stretching them to fit the widescreen.

The Blu-Ray reproduction is excellent, which I suspect is true of all Blu-Ray machines. I bought this one primarily because of its Netflix streaming capability. Connectivity has been more difficult than I'd wish. It usually takes several attempts for the machine to recognize my internet connection. [...] After a few dozen attempts, I successfully connected and, when connected, am happy with the reproduction. I would recommend it with qualifications.

The box has a sleek design with the front buttons being slightly swept back. The bluray player works great. I was nervous about the quality of the streamed movies, but it set my fears at ease. I also enjoy the ease of use, my whole family has figured it out, and they have not had to ask me how to work it. I give it three thumbs up.

My reason for this purchase was to set-up my netflix streaming video. I am still unable to have this function working. I have contacted LG but I am not having very good customer service with them. It does have a very good quality picture and plays DVDs very good.

I got this to optimize my high def viewing. I wanted Blu-ray and also get more online content and have only 2 HDMI ports - the LG/Netflix approach does a great job. I was very impressed at the easy install / setup. It worked right out of the box - network connect to Netflix without a hitch; Blu-ray works fine. Start up of the box is very quick. Only downsides I see: quality of display of non Blu-ray disk is not the best - blacks are not represented well. And Netflix needs to improve the resolution of their content - it is not up to even DVD quality.
