Comments about Pioneer Pioneer DV-420V Black Multi-Format 1080p Upscaling DVD Player:
I use the DVD player for watching rented movies and for home-made DVDs. I have only had it for a few weeks, but I put it through its paces for about 4 or 5 days, running DVDs more or less continuously. I did this because in the past I had purchased DVD players that had great specs, but stalled after just a few DVDs. In the present case, the player performed flawlessly, even with rental DVDs having lots of fingerprints and some scratches. I have nothing bad to say about it.
I have made many purchases at ABT over the past few years, and I have always been satisfied. They have always delivered when they said they would, and the contents arrived in excellent shape -- never banged up.

Unit performs beyond expectations. Reads a number of different formats of downloadable content with ease. Very simple to download media content onto an 8GB flash card on a PC and then just plug it right into the front of the unit. Plays TV shows and movies of of the USB drive and both burned DVD sizes including Dual Layer discs.
Just remember to name your media files on whatever you are plugging into the device with friendly names that you will recognize.
