I selected this product because of the multi-disk capability and the programmable RS232 interface. I was able to quickly develop an application that integrates with DVD Profiler to enable me to browse through my movie collection and select the movie to play. Using this application, I am able to avoid the issues that others have had with the unit losing its movie information, etc.
I have only had the unit for a few weeks now, but I have not had any problems with playback.
