I have a bright room, had need to get curtains to reduce the glare, the picture was plenty bright but so was the glare.

I was watching a truely remarkable HD picture within 30 minutes of arrival. Choice of picture settings, as well as, an expert setting, allowing the user almost unlimited adjustment.
Connected to a Blue-Ray, awesome.
My only beef is that the remote cannot "learn" to operate other devices, like cable box or DVD players. If not for that, this is a 5 star review.

This TV great. The picture and color is best I have seen. There is a little glare just like you would get with a regular CRT TV but that is nothing new. Hands down best picture for the price.

This TV is great. The picture quality is excellent. I read reviews on this TV for months until I pulled the trigger and purchased it. The reviews were dead on. This thing is great. There is glare just like most Plasmas but it doesn't bother me since all regular CRT TVs have glare also and it is what we grew up with. I even use it in a brightly lite room and have no problems with the glare it gives off.

I'm not supposed to comment on pricing, so all I'll say is that I knew what a fair price would be, and my sales rep matched it, then beat it, then gave me a free Blu-ray player. I'd buy from these guys again in a heartbeat.
The tv's great, but makes any substandard picture look even worse because of how big, bright, and clear the image is, so stay with HD programming and Blu-ray as much as possible.
