The installation setup with the surround speaker system was tedious. The problems and confusion were more with the AV box than the TV. However, the instructions in Samsung manual were not extremely illuminating.

Excellent product. I've been shopping for my next HD television for a year (sold my 65" Mitsubishi) and decided on DLP over LCD projection. Samsung is by far the best of the DLPs. Great sleek design, two hdmi inputs are great, very simple setup. My only con is the SD picture is just average, but this is the norm with large HD televisions. Also, the remote is kind of weak, I don't like the appearence, but no one really uses it after getting a universal or programming the Time Warner remote. Overall, I am very pleased.

Havent been able to try out 1080p with this tv yet but i am sure i would not be dissapointed, this tv is simply amazing! The interactive menu is easy and fun to use, the screen is like a matted screen with reduces so much more reflection that a tv with a glassy looking screen, and the picture is amazing the colors are vibrant and everything is exceptionally clear.

I have had the tv hooked up now for 2 weeks and have had no problems. the picture quaility, as well as sound is unbeleivable. I have yet, too rent a blue-ray movie too see what the 1080p will look like. but just watching hdtv is mind blowing. The color and depth of the picture is like you can reach in and touch what u are looking at. Just love my new tv.

Had the TV for 10 weeks and so far I have had absolutely no complaints. [...] You have to get HD programming to make it worthwhile, otherwise you may be disappointed as it won't make regular dish or cable service look any better. The picture is simply incredible for shows broadcast in HD, as most primetime shows and sporting events are. Had a Super Bowl party and everyone was amazed at the clarity, especially when I showed them the non-HD signal. My only concern is the bulb life as we watch a lot of TV and movies. We bought the Samsung upconverting DVD player and the quality is AMAZING compared to my old player. Plenty of inputs for all your peripherals, including 2 HDMI inputs which gives the best quality picture by far.

After much research this was the best TV in our price range with all the nifty features to be offered. We have had this TV for 3 months and have had an excellent experience. I highly recommend this TV!!

On a scale from one to ten, I would have to give it an eight. The built in speakers are only average at best. Spending some additional money for a home theater system is a good way to tie it all together.

We went into every store and just stared at all the TV's and each time the Samsung had the best picture and recomendations over the Sony. Physically, the TV is gorgeous, works perfectly, easy remote. Could not ask for anything better. In fact., it was so great that we went out and purchased a Samsung home theater to go with this [...]

I did my research before deciding to buy this set, and I'm glad I did. I couldn't be happier with it. The picture is fantastic, setup couldn't have been easier, and it has all the features I wanted. I highly recommend it. I was one of the reviewers for the new TiVo Series3, and I picked up the set specifically to use for the review. With the TiVo feeding the set over HDMI - perfection.
