This TV has an awesome picture and I don't have my HD DVR yet. I hooked it up to a standard DVR and the picture is better than expected.
Product arrived in perfect condition and delivery was a breeze. The shipper called before arriving which was a big help.

The picture quality will rival anything out there, whether plasma or LCD. I do not think you will find a better value for your dollar...too bad they are no longer making them!
Customer service and delivery were excellent. I had ordered and cancelled an order from another retailer before finding this one because they could not confirm delivery times.

TV has excellent picture quality! I have a dish network HD box hooked up with an HDMI cable and the picture is awesome!! I also have an Xbox 360 which looks great hooked up with component cables. This was the best bang for the buck purchase I've had in a very long time!
Very fast delivery!! I mean fast, fast!! TV arrived in perfect condition. I love ABT!!

I love the zoom feature!
We ordered this product on-line on a Sunday evening and by Thursday, it was sitting in our house. The delivery company was great and the TV box didn't have a scratch or dent on it. Wonderful delivery and very smooth transaction. We will definitely use Abt again!

Went from a 30 inch LCD HDTV to this 50 INch TV. The Bravia color is stunning. My only issue with it is DVD playback,I went as far as to purchase a new Sony upconverting DVD player which still does not output the quality that I expect. It is probably just a wrong setting on my part and I do plan on contacting Sony about that. Other than that,the HD playback is stunning! The builtin over the air tuner works great with just a 10 dollar set of rabbit ears,it pulls all the local stations HD signals as clearly as the Time Warner Cable HD signal.[...]

Great TV for the price, even though Sony discountinued this model it is a great deal if you can pick one up. A lot cheaper than the LCD of the same size.
Great service, ABT sent it out the same day I ordered it and it was at my house in a week. Best part no shipping fee.

TV does take a few seconds to warm-up, but color, sound, and size far-outweigh the need to see the picture immediately. Given these TVs are being phased-out for plasma and flatscreens, it is an outstanding bargain without sacrificing any high value capabilities. BE VERY CAREFUL ABOUT THE EXTENDED WARRANTY - after close examination, you will notice it does not cover the high-failure item - the lamp. Don't buy just one of these - buy one for every room. This TV at 50" costs less than half the price of a 32" plasma.
Delivery was very personalized - delivered by a nice gentlemen in a conversion van who drove 60 miles in the middle of afternoon traffic. Package was delivered without any noticeable damage.

I highly recommend the Sony rear projection HDTV's. This is our second. You have to replace the bulb every 3-4 years, but the upfront cost is far below that of a plasma or LCD. The picture quality is amazing.ABT's [...] price can't be beat. I was a little nervous about using an internet retailer, but I will definitely use ABT again.
